With some 120 clients in his portfolio, Feng Pan is a popular client manager with sole traders, limited companies, residential associations, clubs and many other organisations.
Before becoming an accountant, Feng picked up a wide variety of skills as a Finance Officer for a Training and Enterprise Council (TEC) in Kingston, and then as a Cash Team Leader with the Notting Hill Housing Group.
He was studying for his Chartered Certified Accountant exams when he joined Aldous Gower in Surbiton – and qualified two years later. Originally responsible for preparing business accounts, he soon became involved in audit, tax and a range of other disciplines.
Aldous Gower merged with THP in 2005, and Feng's portfolio expanded to include many clients from the UK's Chinese community. Today he helps clients by providing accounts, completing tax returns, offering tax advice and helping with tax planning.
"I enjoy the variety of my work," Feng explains. "I like sorting out issues in different situations, and clients really appreciate my help."
