After graduating, Kate joined a small accountancy practice in London. It was a great start to her career, but she was soon keen to gain the experience only a larger firm can offer.

So she joined THP and soon got to grips with the full range of services, from preparing accounts and VAT returns to audit. She also continued to study for her accountancy exams, qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2008.

"I like the fact THP has the in-house resources to service larger clients," Kate says. "It's also good to build up a varied portfolio, and help businesses in many different industries."

Kate's a rising star at THP, and is playing a greater role in servicing the client at the Cheam office, and you can guarantee she'll approach your work with enthusiasm and expertise. As she says: "It's satisfying when you've pulled a lot of complex information together and provided your client with a perfect set of accounts."
