Carol has always been interested in numbers, and with an analytical mind and a flair for working with complex figures, accountancy was an ideal profession for her to follow.
After joining an accountancy firm as a receptionist when she was 15, she began to study for AAT accountancy exams at evening classes. She qualified, and began to pick up expertise in a full range of services, from accounts preparation, VAT returns and general bookkeeping to Corporation Tax and CIS returns. She still enjoys the variety of her work today.
Carol came to THP from an accountancy firm in Chelmsford, and quickly developed her skills. "At THP you're encouraged to push yourself further, and I've now taken over a management role."
Carol prides herself on being approachable, and insists on providing very high standards for our clients. "I encourage clients to phone because some of them still worry about bothering their accountant. They shouldn't – we work for them."
