One of the greatest pleasures of Sam's role is seeing her colleagues develop in confidence, skill and expertise.

It's a journey she's experienced first hand – after starting as an office junior with George Nottage (now merged with THP), her skills ensured her career soon blossomed.

After picking up a practical understanding of payroll and bookkeeping services, she gained experience as a PA to the Directors and then as an Administration Manager. Today she has responsibility for managing Operations and Human Resources.

Sam is ideal for her role because she has a talent for working with others and has a keen interest in building a strong team. "I feel that I'm making a valued contribution," she says.

It's hard work, but it results in many achievements, including the modernisation of the way we do HR. She's presently rolling out a new appraisal system, designed to help team members become even better at what they do – for their own benefit, and that of our clients.
