Having qualified in Essex, Bertram spent 10 years in London before returning to his home ground and setting up practice as a sole practitioner. He joined THP in 2008, and as he has client experience ranging from sole traders to quoted companies, he appreciates the fact that THP has ‘large firm standards’ yet still offers a very personal service. He considers that greater regulation and more complex legislation have had a huge impact on the industry, and he admits he gets his greatest job satisfaction from:
