Kevin joined THP in 2008, having gained over twenty years experience of running his own practice. Kevin has found being part of a larger organisation, with more resources and more opportunities for social interaction, to be stimulating and fun. He thinks his clients would agree that, as well as being friendly, helpful and conscientious, he is always on the lookout for the humour to be found in most situations!

Looking back over his years in the industry, he is very aware that not only have communications evolved significantly, meaning that a faster, more responsive service is now expected, but the role of the Inland Revenue and the introduction of Self-Assessment have also had a major impact upon accounting.

Reflecting upon the things he most enjoys about his chosen career, Kevin says:

'I still get great pleasure from the basics, and really look forward to my clients sending me their accounts and tax affairs for the forthcoming year. It’s a shame in some ways that computers have taken away a lot of the numeric satisfaction of adding up a balance sheet!'
