Are You Looking For A Reliable Chartered Accountant Beddington?
A former village on the edge of the town of Sutton, Beddington is thought to have been inhabited since the Bronze Age.
Its attractions include the 58-hectare Beddington Park, originally a 14th-century deer park and now a lovely site for wildlife lovers. The River Wandle runs through the park into a lake, and birdwatchers can spot grebes, greylags, Egyptian geese and swans, as well as squirrels. There are also football pitches, tennis courts, a café and a playground.
Also in the park is the Grade II* listed 14th-century parish church of St Mary, which was elaborately decorated by the Victorians and contains an organ screen by William Morris.
Waddon train station, on the edge of Beddington, has six peak-time trains an hour to London Victoria and London Bridge, which is less than 25 minutes away. Beddington is also served by the south London Tramlink and various buses.
