So, you’re looking for accounting jobs in London or the South East!

Maybe you’re just beginning your career and you’re looking for a London accountancy firm that can offer you that vital first job? Or perhaps you’re an experienced accountant looking for your next challenge? Or could you be looking for a non-accountancy role, such as a practice administrator? We generally have a number of accounting jobs in London and the South East on a regular basis. Opportunities vary over time as they are opened and then filled, so if you don’t see what you are looking for now, keep looking and refreshing the page.

Whatever your career ambitions, THP could have the perfect role for you. You can find our current vacancies here, but first let’s tell you a bit more about us. If you like what you read, we’d love to hear from you!

Where in London and the South East does THP offer accounting jobs?

Since THP started life in London in 1974, we’ve grown steadily and merged with a number of other accountancy firms. Today we have over 40 employees who work at four different branches. Two of these are in the capital: our head office in Wanstead, East London, plus our branch at Sutton. We also have two branches in Essex: one in Chelmsford and another in the pretty town of Saffron Walden.

If I want an accounting job in London or the South East, why should I choose THP?

Our best asset is the fact we’re big enough to offer great job opportunities, but small enough to retain a friendly, ‘can-do’ working atmosphere.

Many people looking for accounting jobs in London face two main choices. They can either go and work for a huge accountancy firm where they’ll be just one employee among hundreds, if not thousands. Or they can find a job with a friendly, small, High Street accounting practice, where there’s not much scope for promotion or career development.

THP offers the best of both worlds. Our accountants can develop their own interests and specialisms, helping us to offer clients expert services and advice in fields like tax planning and audit – or even in sectors like the buy-to-let market. But at the same time, they are always part of a supportive team and able to take advantage of excellent mentoring, training and skills development.

Oh, and we nearly forgot to mention – we offer a very competitive salary too, not to mention lots of perks, freebies and discounts.

What kind of clients will I work with?

At THP, you’ll work for lots of different clients and some really nice people. From large retail firms to education specialists and veterinary practices to games developers, our clients are ambitious, interesting and demand a lot from their accountants!

Will I have to work in London?

If you’re looking for accounting jobs in London, we’re assuming that’s where you’d like to work! But if you’d rather live outside the capital, cut down on the daily commute, or simply feel like a career opportunity elsewhere, then we regularly advertise positions at our Essex branches.

How do I apply for a job at THP?

The first step is to check out our current vacancies. At the time of writing, we have a great selection of positions at our offices. But don’t worry if you can’t see the right job for you – if you’ve got skills, talent and ambition we still want to hear from you.
