A suburban area of the north east London borough of Redbridge, Clayhall has wide, leafy streets, plenty of green space and a selection of good value homes. The area is centred around one of Ilford's largest open spaces – Clayhall Park - a 70-hectare Green Flag park whose attractions include a small maze, a rose garden, cricket and football pitches and an ice cream parlour. Ilford train station, which is about two and a half miles from Clayhall, has up to 13 peak-time trains an hour to London Liverpool Street, taking between 15 and 20 minutes. The M25, M11 and A12 are all close by, and London City Airport and Stansted Airport are both around half an hour away in the car.
